Indeed, I am no longer getting anything. Think I'll get few tasks from different project at least for my main rig…

There's been a recent lull in work for R@h here at the lab so the queue has hit 0 a few times within the last week. There are plenty of jobs slated for the future though.

Thanks. If it is just a summer vacation lull, that is understandable, and no cause for concern. Otherwise, one might imagine the worst.

Good news. But could you take a look at validation during this lull. Some of my teammates are waiting up to a whole day with pending credit

My rosetta@home run time keeps requesting tasks for my GPU. How do I get it to ask for CPU tasks? Maybe I'm just blind, dunno ;)

Some tasks are coming through patchily over the last few days, but the validation issue persists - something like 16 hour waits the last time I looked

Hi boboviz,

Any luck now? What error message did you get? I'm debugging the issue.

Validation backlog seems to have been cleared and task buffer full here. Thanks

Hello, is it normal to get a couple of tasks with "Validate Error"? Is it an issue on my end? I've had 10 of them in the past 4 days or so.

Here's a few:

868770993
868649273

Thanks.

Not a problem I've seen before, on any project. It could mean a problem with the validator, rather than anything on your computer.

Not "normal" but it occasionally happens. If you click those links now you'll see that credit has been awarded. A job runs every 24hrs to mop up these glitches so you don't lose out

This is my second post on this issue. I have two desk top computers. One has 8 processors the other four. For Some reason...you program refuses to send my 4 processor computer any work. So until you can tell me what I'm doing wrong.. I'll just go to another project, which is a shame since I enjoy working with Rosetta@home I'll leave it to you to figure out what is going wrong.

Not enough information to tell much. You need to show more of your settings for those computers, both the settings on the computers and the settings on the server. Be sure to include the amount of memory BOINC is allowed to use on each computer, and the amount of memory that is installed.

Patchy supply continues, as I'm sure everyone realises, but validation is lagging again for up to about half a day.

I'm guessing this ties in with the recent update in the crowd-funding thread. Something certainly needs to change before messages like Mr Yeatts' becomes a lot more common.

I have to ask what's going on atm.

Servers all seemed to be reset the other day, lots of tasks showing on the homepage and server status page now but little or nothing coming down, though at the same time lots of tasks seem to be in progress.

Meanwhile validation is anything up to a day and a half behind with some of my team.

I share your concern.
The server status page bears little resemblance to what we experience, even reporting tasks has become a lottery, validation is way behind and external statistics reporting is sporadic.

Has Rosetta@home become a victim of it's own success?
