Rosetta@home, and a few other protein-related distributed computing projects, look like they could eventually lead to new medicines for diabetes.
Looks like a good idea for some other members of the team to show up on newsgroup alt.support.diabetes, and a few other related newsgroups, and invite some of the people there to join the team.
