Thought I'd crunch some time on R@H wu's again but just found out I got 10 credits for 10 hrs of crunching time on a Phenom II X4 945.
Sorry, can appreciate a joke but this is too much so I hopped to another project again.

This is why I set my WUs to run at most 2 hours.

There does seem to be an issue here.

The highlighted wu stands out. Almost twice as long to complete, flagged as a success, and a miserly 20 credit.

There is a whole thread about the 20 granted credits, I think you are getting 20 credits as the unit was deemed 'bad'.

Even though yours took longer it still seems to apply.

One thing you might try is to upgrade Boinc to the latest 'release' version, you are a long ways behind right now. The recommended version for Windows is 7.0.64 now, and for Linux it is 7.0.65. I am NOT saying it will fix the problems, but it can't hurt.

It is flagged as Sucess. I have not updated BOINC because I do not like some of the "features" in the more recent versions. The BOINC version should not affect the applications anyway.

Yes and no, as more 'features' as you call them are implemented more and more projects will modify their programming to make use of the parts that benefit them, the part we see is only a small part of the whole. But in general the version should not make a huge difference, such as the one you saw. It does look like you are back to normal for your credits, so maybe the unit was just a faulty one.

I'm in agreement, but it's probably because it's considered more humanitarian than figuring asteroid collisions. The needs of the one outweigh the needs of the many. Or the other way around as appropriate.

See I'm a goal oriented guy and am ALMOST there, meaning my time here is ALMOST up. Not quite but I am getting MUCH closer each and every day!!
