Just a heads-up: The XML stats haven't been updated/exported since 15 Nov 2007.

Thanks Marky, for your post.
The user stats at Boincstats looks a bit odd: no one with credit/last day, everyone stayed on the same position.
I wonder if the XML stats haven't been updated due to the server update last Thursday.

Happy crunching to all,

I think that's when they stopped updating, so the two could be connected.

That looks like a logical explanation.
Thanks again!

It's been 3 days since an XML update. Anyone know what's going on? There's a whole lot of silence on the Home Page, or anywhere else for that matter. Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know what's going on either, but I have Stats 'N Stones users clamoring for a Rosetta stats update.

Remember that it's the weekend. The project staff doesn't sit at work 24/7.

Fair enough... However, the 5.81 problems as reported in the requested thread have gone unattended for more than a few days. There seems to be a general lack of attention recently.

That's what I'm getting at. If you look at the Home Page server situation, the date is stuck on the 15th, which was Thursday on my calender. And you're right about the 5.81 thing also, lots and lots of validate and compute errors. We would all appreciate some information.....

I agree things are not getting better here they are getting worse. Back in October I tried to warn Rosetta project leaders that making promises that they ignore and not responding to the message boards is going to make us feel negatively about the project.
Thread

Here is another example of great user ideas being ignored. On May 27 2007 Speedy started a thread about if the Rosetta project could create a ServerStatus Work unit page like Seti's. And even after the Mod said "I think it's a great idea. It has been brought by others as well as being a way to motivate people to crunch more. Show them the work that's left to do, and progress being made."
No one from the Rosetta has done it or even responded to another polite request for an update on November 4 2007 by Speedy.

There's a big difference between not implementing improvements and not getting things that were working fine back up and running in a timely manner.

Please keep this thread on topic. we want the xml stats generation fixed. Then you can complain about everything else you wish they'd do but haven't yet.

I agree with you, big starfire chief. The problem is: WHAT IS THE PROBLEM TO FIX WITH THE XML STATS GENERATION? Maybe you are privy to information that us mere mortals are not. If you are, then there is a very large number of crunchers that you might want to share it with. If not, then maybe you are closer to those who are in the know...

You might want to check the title of the thread :-). The problem with them is that they're not being generated ;-).
