Hi dev. Team,

when did You think to solve that Problem? I know it didn't crash if I leave rosetta in Memory! But I must remove it from memory!!

Please let us known if it is fixed.

Thanks

Will do,

Have you tried the 5+ boinc client? I read on another post that this problem goes away but have not heard from others confirming this.

It errors out on my system. Spec. in my signature.
I had problems with LHC reseting to 0% until they fixed their check points. No one seems interested to find out why Boinc and Win98 don't play well together with 'option leave in memory'.

Questions? Answers are in the BOINC Wiki.

I've start testing it on two Computers, that run now Boinc 5.2.1. I'll let You the result known.

Do all of the current BOINC projects accept 5.x clients now? Last I saw, there were only a couple that did. If this is the case, upgrading to 5.x is not a solution for people who crunch other projects and are coming to Rosetta without wishing to penalise their existing portfolio.

I think all have converted (you can check yourself by reading the home page news on each of the projects' web page) except for LHC.

david,

5.X should only fix the crash on the benchmarks, not the issue we see when switching apps when the option leave app in memory is off (which is the default and something not all can change)

The test on W2k an XP was negative it fails on both, so I wait for a new application release. :-(
