a Few days ago I posted in "Number Crunching" ...

"Why doesn't rosetta combine efforts with

folding@home
world comunity grid
and predictor@home"

I simply wanted an answer - but it seems to me as if my posting HAS BEEN DELETED !!!!

There was no reply, no email, nothing

Why this ?

Could I make a plea for mods not to totaly delete misplaced items.

Posting a link to the new thread and an explanation of why it moved gives a good learning experience to the newcomer. By all means move the posting(s) over, but please inset a brief message in under the old title.

People learn by being reminded repetitively. Its boring for those of us who already know, but if we'd like newcomers to learn the ettiquette we do need to explain (over & over again) why thnigs get moved.

I used to move topics and send an e-mail or PM to the member who posted the topic (with a link) if I did not leave the old topic with a redirect in the old location.
