Some devices like Samsung seem to work well with Rosetta. There is a wide variety of devices and vendors that use customized versions of android and hardware configurations that may or may not play well with Rosetta. With specific code and optimized apps, smartphones are good for crunch (WCG or astronomical projects). Rosetta's team has to re-write large part of the code to have a "good" app on android (or continue to wait the future for better arm cpu, hopefully). Rj5 said that with little changes we can have optimized app on cpu with computational increase (before other deep optimizations). Why not to start with these? Now on my desktop PC I stopped Rosetta WUs because it seems to clutter requesting Lattice WUs. These are really rare and so it happens that my server runs out of WUs altogether.
