I don't know whether graphic questions are allowed in this section. I hope it is. I've noticed red squares in the Plotting square in the graphics. I've read about the graphics and it said nothing about red squares. This is how it looks: http://img302.imageshack.us/img302/3879/reddots3wz.png I've also noticed this in some of my other WUs. What do these squares represent? |

I don't know whether graphic questions are allowed in this section. I hope it is. Any question is allowed here - except "why aren't my SETI results uploading". ;-) I don't have a definitive answer for you, but if I recall correctly, it was said that those are the lowest-energy/RMSD points found during the Ab Initio stage. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I still don't grok the graphic details... |

They are actually the lowest energy points found during the "full-atom relax" stages (1 per stage). You won't see any until you've done at least one full-atom relax, or at least 10% complete. |

I always see them at 90%+ progress and was wondering the same thing ,does that make it a candidate for lowest energy unit? Or is it just inherent in every wu? Would add to the experience if it were already explained in the graphics overview :) |

Well, of course you'll see them more at the end of the workunit since it's completed more relax stages by then. It stays at 90% just as it stays at 70% and 20% (and those in between) because it's working on the relax stage. They don't have a linear increase in completion percentage since there's really no way to predict when the stage will end. |
