Mac fanatic, although my career has been mostly mini/mainframe database programming. Have done a bit of everything, night operator, sysadmin, phone support, maintenance programming, systems design and development. Hobbies are reading, scuba diving, photography, or combining those last two into underwater photography. (It's hard to read underwater.)
Update! Been away from BOINC since 2006, just returned (with just one MacBook running - so far) and have earned more credit in a week than I did in a year before! Moore's Law…

I believe Rosetta is the best-run of all the BOINC projects, and I am happy to volunteer my time answering questions on the boards, and my computer power, as little as it is, to crunching for Rosetta.
Update: Will see if this is all still true 10 years later! :-) |
