Not sure if this is the best place for this, but join Cub Quirk! :) The intention of this team is to help people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (such as Aspergers) demonstraight to the world that we can make a contribution to todays modern society, regardless how big or small the contribution. Even friends and family members are welcome as well, or if you're just curious about us and what we're all about. Some hopes of mine (and perhaps others as well) is to contribute in research around the Shank3 protein strain, and others like it, which is suspected to play a part in ASD. Some online reading material include (but not limited to)the following sites: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-12759587 http://www.wrongplanet.net/ http://www.autismspeaks.ca/ There are 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't. |

Found something else that might be interesting regarding Autistic Spectrum Disorders. Think it might be more recent than most. It even talks about "Techno-toys" a wee bit. :D http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/releases/250706.php There are 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't. |
