I was born on October 12, 1973. I'm taking up some programming courses at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, and hoping to become a Java Developer at the end of the course.
I'm also involved with Tanpaku and the World Community Grid in a semi-active fashion. I've also participated in Einstein@home, SETI@home, and predictor@home in the past.
I enjoy listening to music (anything goes except rap and country) and watching TV (mostly comedy and action).

My Grandfather has Alzheimer's disease. I have some serious doubts that I could save him from its effects, but if I can make a small difference in helping him (ie. finding a better treatment), helping someone else down the road with Alzheimers, or even help with other diseases, I'd be happy.
I don't have any HUGE expectations out of this project, but even if all we get out of this is a little bit of knowledge, then it could be considered as an accomplishment.
