I've doing some cleaning (well the wife has) in our under the stairs storage area and found the above processor sitting in the box of the quad core processor I have.

If anyone wants to use this as a reserve processor or something let me know. I will send it out. It has about 500 hrs or so of usage time on it.

I have an intel cpu fan up for grabs as well.
I would ask a small US$ dontation for postage costs if you want this. Otherwise it goes to the scrap heap.

Hi Greg

I can certainly give it a good home rather than the scrap heap if you're willing to post internationally? I've just this second received a spare S775 motherboard (Foxconn G33M02) but I'm in the UK so postage will be a few $ (you're in the US rather than Belgium right?).

Actually, I'd swap it out for a E2180 that's currently running 24/7 - it's probably capable of double the R@H work given the much larger L2 cache, and the E2180 could go into another machine then. I'm happy to give you $30 or so for it - or could give that to charity as a donation if you prefer?

Danny, I am actually in Belgium. So it should not be that much to ship it to you. As for donation, well yeah you can just give me Euros or Dollars it doesn't matter. Just so I can recover the cost of shipping and packing. I am not out to make a profit. Bad Penguin has been generous to me on a couple of occasions (most recently giving the quad core I am using now) so I figured it would be best to pass the favor on to a fellow cruncher.

Just drop me a message in the inbox here with your address details and I will try and get the cpu sent to you this week or next.
