Started with UD-Think back in '99 or 2000, then moved to Find-a-drug when that started up. When FaD announced it was closing I had a look for something worthwhile to participate in and R@H stood out as the clear favourite (I'm a biology grad so it was either going to be something medical or environmental) so I moved my machines over here.
Your opinions about Rosetta@home
I think Rosetta is a project with great potential. I think there's huge scope for the use of accurate molecular design outside of medicine too - the carbon capture reactions would be a great example of that, as would the production of enzymes that could be released to degrade oil slicks, for example, or in improving the efficiency of industrial processes, thereby increasing their efficiency.
