ich habe ca. 70 File bekommen die ich übers Wochenden zu 2/3 auf einen offline PC fertig bekommen habe und heute Hochgeladen habe alles ohne Problem... nur leider keine Punkt erhalten und bei mir Ansicht "Tasks for user" sind alle bis auf einer "Client detached" ... wie kann sowas passieren?

die restlichen 1/3 Files brauch ich dann wohl auch nicht fertig Berechnen lassen oder ?

Are you using a third party account manager?

The most common cause of unexpected "client detached" results is related to third party account managers such as BoincTasks. If the OP is using a third party manager he should check their forums for assistance.


Is the offline pc the same pc used to download the tasks?

If the OP is trying to download tasks to one pc and then move them to a different pc for crunching he should know that, while feasible, this requires great care as editing the state file is always risky.


There are instances of a server issue causing spontaneous detachments but it is rare.


All that said, transient's explanation is the most likely. If this is what happened the boinc event log would have recorded the action.

the other 3 computers/projects, this also works

I'll cancel the rest of the pack

offlein crunching (copy C:ProgramDataBOINC) is not so good solution

But one other possibility I have not found

a bootable usb stick could work the other offline computer would be the best solution

I never had any luck running a sneaker-net with BOINC. Your best bet might be a virtual machine on a USB stick that runs BOINC which you can then take from one PC to another.

Or can you get the offline machine online temporarily somehow?
