As title suggests, I am wondering why the project has fallen down from the sustained 100+ teraflops to less than half right now.

Thanks.

The half dozen threads complaining about lack of work and server problems probably has something to do with it. ^_~

The servers are all reporting as okay, but we are getting conflicting messages of "Total queued jobs: 2,090,398" on the main page but "Ready to send 1" on the server page. There must be something on the server side that is slowing down those 2 million jobs when passing through the system; some work is coming through but nowhere near as much as normal.

Until the Bakerlab team manage to find the problem we will be working on fewer tasks and reporting a lower project speed.

The messages are not in conflict. This is explained here and here.

The two make_work servers seem to be on a go-slow.

I believe I explained that in my message. We have 2 million jobs in the queue, but only a small number are getting through to the distribution stage.
