I have not received any new jobs recently, could it be because I recently attached new projects to my boinc account.

Rosetta@home has been essentially without any work for about a week. So, no, it's not just you. Your BOINC Manager will take care of handling all of the projects for you and will get Rosetta work once some becomes available.

Are the servers working? The server status web page currently doesn't work.

I'm unable to report the result from a workunit I finished hours ago, and the 6.10.58 version of BOINC apparantly won't even try to download any more CPU workunits from a project while it is failing to report one from that project. At least one more still running, though.

I have been running Rosetta nonstop for five years. Is it over now?

Disregard, I just read the home page. : )

I have about 8 units ready to upload. Every time it tries to upload or if I try to force an up load I get this error in my message string:
PROJECT FILE UPLOAD HANDLER IS MISSING.
Is this issue in my wintel box or your server?

See here for an earlier reply on another thread. The comments are still mostly valid.

Oh thank goodness as I thought there was something wrong my end.
It would be good if we could receive an email when this happens or would that be too involved.

Thanks

I recently added a new computer to my project manager, and it is downloading at least two other projects, but it isn't downloading new Rosetta work. I checked and my other computers appear to download rosetta work, so I'm not sure why this one is having problems. I tried manual "update" and it just defers. I tried resetting project (it never received any data so I figured what the heck), but no change. Rebooting system has no effect. Any suggestions? Running 64bit 7.6.22 (no VM add on). I have it set to allow 1GB of RAM for projects (the others are moving along fine), and it has an equal share of priority. Any help would be appreciated.

@baffoni,

I believe the memory setting is for all active tasks, so depending on how many cores your CPU has, you may want to increase that to at least .5GB per core. But the project has been having trouble keeping up with the demand for work this weekend. Lots of new hosts are still coming on, probably from Charity Engine. So, it just becomes a hit and miss on getting new work, until the servers can get caught up.
