I have a question regarding this task

I was computing that task within ~6h an got only 20 credits. While for ~3h tasks I got about 50 credits.

Is it normal?

No.
If you look near the end of the stderr out you will find these lines:

Hbond tripped: [2009- 9-28 18:22:57:]
BOINC:: CPU time: 25555.5s, 14400s + 10800s[2009- 9-29 1:42:47:] :: BOINC
WARNING! cannot get file size for default.out.gz: could not open file.
Output exists: default.out.gz Size: -1
InternalDecoyCount: 0 (GZ)

Rather than ending when the task hit an "Hbond tripped" error it continued to churn away for the maximum runtime (default or preferred plus 4 hours) without actually completing any models. You got the one model credit for running the maximum time but I suspect the task should have ended some hours earlier when it got the Hbond tripped message. Perhaps this belongs in the "Problems with Minirosetta 1.97" thread.

The task ran for the entire 7 hours and never completed the first model. The watchdog then kicked in and shut it down because that is longer then expected for a single model within a task. So, the specific task you were assigned did not run as expected on your machine, no useful result (other then the knowledge that there is a problem, which is certainly useful too) was returned, and you were given 20 credits anyway.

So is it normal? Well, it is normal for recovering of a task that is running long, yes. But this doesn't occur very often.

I am not positive so we'll have to look at it again tomorrow, but I don't believe the credit granting script will change the 20 credits you've already been given. I believe it only comes in to play when the task ultimately ends abnormally. But watchdog can generally end things normally, as it did in your case.

Good to know ;)
so we'll have to look at it again tomorrow

That would be great! Thank you very much for your help!

Not a problem for me ;)

I was thinking that this wasn't normal because the task should have ended as soon as it got tripped up by the error but of course that's just wrong. I don't know how that got stuck in my head unless I got distracted by the image evoked by the message"Hbond tripped". The workings of the mind are a spectacle of their own. My apologies, mod.sense for posting nonsense.

Hbond sets off every morning for the short walk to his office in a three piece suited wearing wire-rimmmed glasses carrying a a briefcase and an elegant umbrella. This morning when he put down his briefcase(to reach in his pocket for change with which to buy his daily paper)a pint sized ruffian grabbed it(the briefcase) and took off running through the rush hour crowds with Hbond chasing behind. Hbond pursues the thief across the railroad tracks and SPLAT! But, um, no, my mistake, he didn't get squashed by a train though he did hit his head quite badly and wandered around aimlessly for hours, with broken glasses and torn suit, until some kindly fellow recognized him, took him by the hand and lead him home.

similar thing here: Time preference 8h, runtime ~13h. Claimed: 227, granted: 17.

Seems there are some problems in the newest version of minirosetta?

EDIT: forgot the link, ups ^^ https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/result.php?resultid=289289072
