In these messages BOINC is asking work for you GPU. Since Rosetta does not have a GPU app, that particular request will never be successful. I see no further problems myself. You could try reverting to an earlier version of BOINC, 6.4.7 for example.

I don't see any real problems here either. You could also try reverting to an earlier release which might have less problems.

Oh yeah, and the fact that SETI has no work does not have to be related. I hear they have problems at SETI with supplying work. It seems they have more crunchers than work units lately.

I understand Rosetta doesn have any GPU task, but BOINC is not requesting any CPU tasks. That's the problem.

System is now receiving tasks. 4 Running, 4 Ready to start
Thanks for the replies anyway.

I'm just glad to contribute to the project.

The scheduler in the recent builds (or at least in 6.6.36) is backwards - its so frustrating hitting 'update' on the project tab and then watching it request GPU tasks again and again while the CPU sits waiting!

Glad you got some work now ;)
