THis update includes bugfixes in the disulfide part of the code.

NOTE: THere has been a problem uploading this to the server (something went wrong with signing the app),
we are currently trying to resolve this - sorry for the outage, we'll try and have this fixed ASAP.

Mike

I know I'm being wise after the event, but releasing a new version last thing on a Friday afternoon (midnight UK for my first download) is just asking for trouble. A disproportionate number of problems occur on weekends or in holidays when there's never going to be anyone around to start clearing it up until Monday. We've all seen that a few times.

You aren't doing yourselves any favours.

Sure enough, I got an error downloading this one: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/result.php?resultid=268418275

Sun Jul 26 20:50:01 2009 rosetta@home [error] Signature verification error for minirosetta_database_rev31588.zip
Sun Jul 26 20:50:01 2009 rosetta@home [error] Checksum or signature error for minirosetta_database_rev31588.zip

It's still showing up in BoincMgr as "downloading" although there are no files shown on the transfers tab to download...

Also having "Download Failed" status message with all new 1.86 tasks. This status comes up after "minirosetta_database_rev31588.zip" is done downloading so I assume same problem as above.

I have same behavior

Mon 27 Jul 2009 12:07:42 PM EDT|rosetta@home|Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. Requesting 28801 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks
Mon 27 Jul 2009 12:10:13 PM EDT|rosetta@home|Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks

on Fedora 11 with different architectures
minirosetta_1.86_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu

The problem looks like also from boinc fetching new minirosetta_1.86_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu,
because from a new computer, means newly install boinc-client
we can register a rosetta projects with for example boinc-manager
but it can not fetch the minirosetta_1.86_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu file
that is for me, the /var/lib/boinc/projects/boinc.baberlab.org_rosetta directory is empty, no files.
The log message in this case is also
Sending scheduler request: To fetch work.

hope it help

let us know if this continues. it looks like the jobs have the signature verification issue but 1.87 should be fixed so I don't know what's going on.

After several bad downloads of 1.87, I now have 2 WU that seem OK and show a 3 hour time to completion.

Same problem here in the last two days with 3 or 4 computers.

In the client I see:

Communication deferred and Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks

When I check my tasks on Rosetta site I see following error on every work unit:

Client error Downloading

and:

None of my machines can get to the scheduler either. Although I can connect to the scheduling server it is not issuing my computers any new tasks. "Scheduler Request Succeeded: got 0 new tasks", has been that way since 1330 EST yesterday and I received three tasks right before that and they completed almost instantly.

Here same. 1.86 didn't work at all. 1.87 works but:
1. Sending and receiving data is problem (takes several tries)
2. For some reason yesterday everything was ok but today client is requesting only GPU wu which ofc aren't available

After like 30 min it started to request CPU units but no units are downloaded

Bit more log flags on and one gets:

Like others I have received no new units - luckily my CPU isn't being neglected as I have plenty of SETI units to process.
