I have a workunit that is 100% completed, is sitting on my little Itel 450 mhz, Windows 98, and will not upload. BOINC report that the WU is still running. Any suggestions? Thanks Ray |

if it is still status running I would give it some more time, predictor e.g. had wu's that would run to 102.x % and then complete. -- Florian www.domplatz1.de |

I have a workunit that is 100% completed You say it's reported as "running", is that the Status in the Work tab? Some results "sit" at 100% but "running" for a while - up to 5 or 10 minutes on even my fast Mac. But they shouldn't be there for hours or anything. If it's been there that long, I would exit BOINC completely (file/exit on Windows) then relaunch BOINC, and give it another 20-30 minutes before I'd panic. If it is really totally "stuck" at 100%, and "running", I would guess eventually you'll have to Abort it. If it's showing anything _other_ than "Running" for the status, though, it's probably normal - it'll say "uploading" for a bit, then "ready to report" for quite a while, maybe just a few minutes, maybe a day. And every once in a while one will be "preempted" _just_ as it gets to 100%, and will sit there until whatever else is running finishes it's turn. As long as at least one result, from one project, is "running" (and not stuck at 100%...) then everything is okay. |
