We've got a new minirosetta version, with some infrastructure changes and a new protocol for using experimental data from NMR. Please report any issues here |

Some have come down, but I haven't started crunching them yet. For those who run Norton Internet Security 2009 it would be wise to check the new executable hasn't been quarantined in the way previous versions have, as reported here. That message shows how to restore the file from quarantine and report it to Symantec as a false positive. It isn't quarantined on my Norton 360 v3 system here, but neither did it when NIS2009 reported a problem. Don't know about the standalone Norton AV. |

1.64 appears not to be immune to the lockfile problem. https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/result.php?resultid=247790244 It's not clear yet if it can start the lockfile problem, or only inherit it from a 1.54 workunit previously run in the same slot. Have you thought of modifying the program so that, even after a lockfile error, it's capable of sending back all the completed decoys? Also, something in the chain got confused about how long it should make the minirosetta workunits sent to my newer machine. First, it sent 1.54 workunits that actually took about 3 hours instead of the 12 hours I expected. Then, when I adjusted the requested length when logged in from that machine, the length that machine got was adjusted to 12 hours for 1.54 and I started getting 1.64 workunits with an expected length of 20 hours, now adjusted down to 19 hours. The work flow doesn't seem to have had time to adjust to the faster speed of the newer machine yet. |

PlU please report any issues here [/quote} How come each upload had been taking in excess of 25 minutes this week, it usually has only taken 20 seconds per work unit ? Have been on this upload now for 45 minutes and only upoading 80 work units. |

Click "More Details" and chose to "Restore Risk" and ensure that the MiniRosetta executable isn't rejected again. Not sure where the option went to report the false positive to Symantec, but it sorts you out. Strange, because a lot of 1.64 tasks went through ok before it rejected all the tasks at once. Click my name on this message to see my reported results - but also note that I have a lot of computer problems anyway, so there are always a lot of errors. My fault rather than Rosetta's in those cases. |

It seems that I'm using Mini 1.65 instead of 1.64 for the current work unit, but I just wanted to say that I tried reapplying the day-of-week network-availability overrides in BOINC advanced preferences to see if the work unit would freeze as it did in 1.54, and it appears to be working fine. Thanks ^_^ |

1.65 was released. This is a high-priority patch that should fix a problem with the uploads. http://beautifulproteins.blogspot.com/ http://www.miketyka.com/ |

Ditto for NIS2009 with MiniRosetta 1.65 Go to "Security History" and select the "Resolved Security Risks" option from the drop down. Click "More Details" and chose to "Restore Risk" and ensure that the MiniRosetta executable isn't rejected again. Not sure where the option went to report the false positive to Symantec, but it sorts you out. I think the way to report the false positive is to chose the report option first, then restore risk. I did it wrong again but I'll remember next time. |

The lockfile problem again: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/result.php?resultid=248406598 Could you tell the BOINC developers that you need this feature, if you can't find it already? Don't assign any workunit to run in a slot comtaining a boinc_lockfile file left over from a previous workunit run in that slot. If such a slot is not already in use, disable any use of it until the next reboot cleans things up. Instead, create a new slot and use that one. |

Hello, I've tracked down the crashes in the docking runs to 4 runs within the batch. I've now fixed the problem and should rerun those soon (first on ralph). I'm sorry for the trouble this has caused. Thanks for your quick feedback! Sarel. |

Crashed unit using MiniRosetta 1.65. The way I understand is that this issue has been fixed. There are some tasks still to be returned that have errors, your task was one of these by the looks of it. Have a crunching good day!! |
