Hi my computer has been going extremely slow when it reaches 95% or 96%. It goes smoothly until then, which takes about 2.5 hours to get to, and says about 10 minuets left. Then the to completion timer stops or adds time and it only finishes about 1% in 3 or 4 hours. I never let it go all the way to 100% as I put about 10 extra hours of CPU time and it only went from 95% to 98.6%. It never did this before and it did run smoothly while doing rosetta mini tasks so that can't be the cause. I am running BOINC 6.2.19 and this never happens while running other projects such as docking@home. Thanks.

Check your task manager. See if some other process is stealing reasources when this is happening. If this is the case, the clock will run very slowly.

the 'to completion' time is just and estimate and can vary markedly - if it's still running then you're best leaving it to run if possible. The complexity of the models varies so the time to completion does too...

Nick, welcome aboard. It isn't that your computer is any slower. As dcdc says, it is that the estimate is being revised. If your Rosetta preferences are set for the default 3 hour runtime, then you basically should never see anything taking longer then, let's say 5 hours. I see some of the tasks you aborted were well over that.

As dcdc said, there are some proteins and search methods that take longer then others. The Project Team is working to eliminate these long-running outlayers and more things run more consistently.

Please review this thread for more details about what is normal, and what should be aborted and reported.

Because of the varying times, I pretty much ignore the estimated time to completion and the % complete. Rosetta really can't tell how much work it has left to do on a model so those numbers are sometimes way off. Let it go and Boinc/Rosetta will do the right thing.
