Those are not his points or his team. He stole them and I want my team & our team points return to us. We earned them.

The team was not totally inactive. There were a few still crunching and Barbar threw them out of the team too. Look at the link further up that Morphy posted. Barbar and his "team" have done the same thing over many BOINC projects.

This needs rectified and the hole closed.

I want to know what someone with some authority here at Rosetta has got to say about all of this and what they are going to do to sort it out ?

This is a difficult situation. The original founder did not respond to the request for a founder change within the 2 month period so what can we do that is fair for all? You may have to diplomatically request for another founder change. I personally don't think it is good for BOINC to allow a switch as what happened here, even with a long wait period, without a response but then what do you do with inactive teams? Why not just ask the team founder to switch back to Teddies and then we can see what options are available to resolve this issue.

Why can't you just leave the teams alone?

They contribute xxxxx amount for a project then just because they cease for xxxx time you completely disregard them, and their efforts.



Bloody disgraceful.

Don't deserve any support.

Addendum: This brings the whole ethos of dc and teams into disrepute and if it isn't corrected the consequences could be dire for the whole dc community.

So much for integrity, camaraderie, competition......everything goes out the window.

Are you saying that you want to be fair with Barbar, who is doing this all over lots of different BOINC projects ? The Teddies have never known Barber till this scam he is operating.

This was not a case of one of us wanting to take over the team in the event of an absent Capt. Someone else came in stole & claimed what they didn't earn to begin with. Certainly isn't fair to allow a thief to come in and take what they wish. Is it fair to all the teams behind Space Family in the stats? They got their position on the backside of the Teddies not through efforts of their own.

I don't comprehend how someone can change the team's name and take points contributed by Teddies. Why were none of the team members advised of the team captain change?

Maybe the Admin missed Morphy's link earlier. Barbar threw ALL of the Teddies off of the team at the same time active or not. He only wanted the points from the existing members.
