having trouble with the minirosetta v1.28 it keeps locking up to where i have to either ctrl,alt,delete then end the program or to where i hit the windows button then close the program is there a fix for this once this has happened the screen saver is not doing anything thus resulting in the previous mention actions. thank you mg_man1 |

I quit downloading new tasks since July 7th since the minirosetta app kept crashing on me. I decided to try it again today but the work units fail immediately and the progress is set to 100% complete. I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean by exit code. If you're asking if there were any messages after this, then no. These are the only messages related to rosetta. The next messages were for the restart of seti@home. what is the exit code on those? |

review the message text related to the RAH task. look for words like these and then what comes after them. Outcome Client state Exit status stderr out since your computers are hidden no one can see what the actual error codes are. so if you post the above information it will help mod or others know what to tell you and the team can see what the error is. I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean by exit code. If you're asking if there were any messages after this, then no. These are the only messages related to rosetta. I've enabled my computer to be visible so you can see what's going on and I've also allowed new RAH work units to download. BTW, a task for Rosetta Beta 5.98 is currently running without a problem so far. [quote]review the message text related to the RAH task. look for words like these and then what comes after them. picking one work unit at random I found this. I noticed this one was stuck. Must have been like it for 10 days as the machine always returns work within a few hours. Had the t405 type symptoms - was using it's quota, but not actually advancing, instead, Windows Idle Process was getting it's quota. With the other things I've seen recently with messagebox crashes and strange failures, I'm starting to worry more and more about crunching Rosetta. Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |
