Hi. Sorry for my english is not so good. I have a problem. If I run a task for some time and after that I shut down my computer, when I restart it later it comes back to 0 %. Does anyone know how to fix this? Should I get another version of BOINC? (I use 5.8.16) Thank you. |

How long did your task run before you turned off your computer? Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

Have you optimized the sutdown of windows? Please try if closing boinc manually before restarting solves the problem. (this could give us some clues what happened) |

Hi Cristi Your version of BOINC is fine. the error on one of the WUs is too many restarts with no progress. After a restart, Rosetta will run from the last place that it checkpointed. If it didn't manage to reach a checkpoint the last time the computer was on then it will start from 0%. Can you confirm whether you've set BOINC to: run while the computer is in use? = yes Leave applications in memory while suspended? = yes (these are set in 'Participants > General Preferences) Danny |
