thats a few miles it sounds like ..i know some people that drive an hour to work.......i took a train ride for 24 hrs once

I have never calculated the total miles, but the first segment goes quick in the morning and at night I read my book of the month so to speak.
Lots of reading time on the train.

Want to talk about road trips? Try travelling across Canada. It's a big place. Once travelled 3200km in a u-haul and didn't even go from one side to the other. @:^)

i feel sorry for you driving that distance in a u-haul, thats a very painful sounding story from the sounds of it. i did a local move with u-hell helping a friend out. drove one of those big 24ft rigs. dumb thing had tail light problems and windshield wiper problems. They local office where i picked up the rig didn't have any hand trucks available. I had to goto a different location to get a utility dolly since that was all they had. once i got all that taken care of then we could do a local trip. ryder was so much better.

on that kind of km's, i used to drive that in a week when i was working for a contractor for being a crew hauler for bnsf railroad in seattle. did lots of seattle portland runs at all times of the day or night and also went east to wenatchee alot. wenatchee was scenic but portland dulled your senses. 4 lane interstate 3 hrs each way all in one trip. so 6-7 hrs on the road for that run.
at least i had a nice midsize all wheel drivr van, a good hard working gmc saffari. that beast could handle anything. put some good mud and snow tires with studs on it and you could go just about anywhere. ice patches excluded.

Dell Dimension 9200.

Q6600 quadcore. 2.4 Ghz. 8 MB L2 cache (2 MB per core).

2 GB RAM. (I am planning to upgrade to 4 GB)

No hyperthreading.

Discontinued in the US, but I see Dell still has an active webpage here or here too.

This is how its doing so far...
