It is also a centralised place for help rather than the many message board there are currently. Skype is a free to use text chat and/or voice video etc for the way it is being used. It can also be used around VoIP. The main advantage is there is a Mac, Linux & Windows client. Using the Skype help system you can choose who you would like help from, it is one on one and you will not get loads of other posters chiming in or confusing you. It's a bit more personal.
