Dear Colleagues @ Rosetta@home: Should you need additional computing power through the resources volunteered for the BOINC@TACC project or the VMs on the cloud-computing platforms, please do not hesitate to contact us at rauta@tacc.utexas.edu I was not sure how to contact the developer team for the Rosetta@home project and hence thought to post the message here and also sent in a tweet. If there is anyone I can email to for offering help, please let me know. Thanks, Ritu |

I don't know who would be the best contact person, but there is contact info for David Baker here: https://www.bakerlab.org/index.php/contact/ |

Hi, thanks for your offer of support. I'm not sure I understand why you need to ask if we need help? I'm pretty sure that the current spike in work (related to COVID-19) means this project will gladly take all the help they can get. To help, simply install and run the project on your compute resources. Thanks in advance from everyone in the community. **38 cores crunching for R@H on behalf of cancercomputer.org - a non-profit supporting High Performance Computing in Cancer Research |

Hello, The reason why I asked was because we can offer the plumbing to route tasks/work from Rosetta@home directly to BOINC@TACC and on other TACC systems such that we do not need to install clients on several thousand compute-nodes or cores that are in the cloud. If Rosetta@home can point us to the software (code or Docker images) of interest and datasets to process as a batch, we can provide multiple petaFLOPs of compute power. We support running applications as Docker containers and we can help in scaling to several thousand cores. Would this be of interest to you all? Thanks, Ritu |

We already support the following software packages in case they are useful for the Rosetta@home team: {Autodock-Vina, Bedtools, BLAST, Bowtie, GROMACS, HTSeq, LAMMPS, or NAMD } |
