Have you tried running Memtest 86+ to test your memory. Have you cleaned the dust bunnies from the CPU lately? Might be overheating. You can check the temps with Speedfan. Of course it could be Rosetta. To find which one you need to eliminate the other possibilities. Could even be a failing PSU (power supply unit).

hope this helps

All of the errors you are having are of known types, but to have them all occur on one machine in such a short period of time is not common. It is hard to advise you what to do, but you might try treating the system as if you were running the older version of the application and see if that helps.

I would start by setting Rosetta to "no new work" mode and letting the queue drain. While that is happening, go to your prefs page and set "Keep applications in memory during swaps" to YES. Set the "time between application swaps" to some value larger then 90 Min (try 120 perhaps). That may fix it so watch the running WUs for errors. If there are none, then the problem is somewhere, in the mix of BOINC/operating system on your system.

If that does not work, then when the queue drains, reset the rosetta project. Then make certain the new application downlaods and try that. If you still have trouble, it is time to start looking for other solutions. If however, that seems to work, then you could try a few things to normalize your running environment.

First try backing off the swap time to 60 min., If it stays stable after a few WUs, then try letting it remove applications from memory during swaps. If you want to reduce the time it take to process WUs while you are trying all this, set your time parameter to 2 hours. Then all your WUs will complete in about that time, and you can judge your chnages faster. If it stablizes, then go back and adjust your time setting to what ever you want.

Let us know how it goes or if you need help.

I believe it's not exclusively a Rosetta specific problem as the errors are also happening on Einstien as the user stated in this post. I'm not sure though, that's why I advised checking out the system itself.

First of thanks for your replies,

yes i have dusted the whole machine out recently, put a new motherboard in (ASRockK7S41GX) about 4 weeks ago and matched it with a new 400w psu due to all the lights etc fitted on the case, as for cooling its a mastercooler turbo fan, keeps the cpu temp arround 46c at max with 100% usage, and the memory test yep done it aswell no probs at the mo its 1 512@333mhz in slot 1 soon to be changed for 2x1gig, updated to sp2 today(only cus need it on to install x3:reunion lol(which btw runs suprisingly well on this machine) wasnt going to cus of hasle its caused me in the past.....anyway i'll take your advice and see how it goes, will post back here in maybe a day or 2 save starting another thread,

thanks again

You sound much more computer savy than some I've seen. Are you OCing? If so, have you run Prime95 for a loop or two?

And

This error
<core_client_version>5.2.13</core_client_version>
<message>Incorrect function. (0x1) - exit code 1 (0x1)
</message>

is defined by the Wiki page here
