I'm not sure how likely this is going to be, but what are the odds of BOINC and/or Rosetta@home using Antminers for number-crunching? Or are they not designed for this kind of work? :)

They aren't designed for this kind of work. Bitcoin miners are very fast because they can only do one thing.
