Your personal background.
My name is John. I’m a long time participant in the SETI@HOME project. I’m now running BOINC to crunch numbers for the ROSETTA project. I am very excited about SETI and how it grew into this great process in which we can use each and every one of our computers to advance in knowledge. Technology is great – especially when it’s used in a positive fashion.

I work with computers every day and currently work for NOAA in Hawaii at the Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument. www.hawaiireef.noaa.gov

I love helping to save endangered species. Animals are unconditional – the unconditional love for others is a great inspiration for how I live my life. I treat other with the utmost respect until they show me they do not deserve it. I don’t care if you make a million dollars or if you are homeless on the street. I’ll treat you with the same respect. I liken it to the “ALOHA SPIRIT”.

Thanks for taking the time to read this blurb. ALOHA!
Your opinions about Rosetta@home
Like the SETI project – I think it’s GREAT! The force goes into the flow. I believe if everyone took a little bit of their time and did volunteer work or like the ROSETTA – helping out. The world would be a better place.
