Profile: Anymouse

Your personal background.
I am a bodice-ripper Romance editor and disabled Navy vet of seventeen years service, a former Aviation Electronics Technician First Class. I became a councilman in our village government on Dec 3, 2012. I was re-elected in 2014 to a four-year term. I still have a desire to do things which are a bit more technical than that.

However, since I now cannot do those technical things, I have turned over spare computer time on my laptop to BOINC so that others who are far better educated than me can get things done I only wish I could do.

And with a new laptop for a holiday gift from my sweetie, I can now BOINC at ten time the speed of my old one with its keys that are falling off.

So it (and I) sit in our sleepy village of one hundred people and half a million cows, doing our part for the betterment of humankind (and maybe cowdom, if Rosetta were to come up with a solution to BSE).
Your opinions about Rosetta@home
1 Just doin' my bit as a pointy-headed bodice-ripper editor and small-time politician for Science. ::)
2 Rosetta is a worthwhile thing for my otherwise less-than-challenged computer to do. All that tech should do more than be used to edit Romances. ::)
3 No suggestions at the moment, but I'll let you know if I have any.
