Industrial Electronics High School Diploma earned in 1973 at ITIS Enrico Fermi of Rome
Worked for 37+ years in IBM Italy, now retired
Joined BOINC in 1999 for the first time when running the original seti@home for some years, then rejoined in 2016 again with seti@home for some time
Now crunching rosetta@home (Mar 2020) in hope to help defeating coronavirus which devastated my country as well as the rest of the world
Amateur astronomer and enthusiast about scientific disciplines in general, I practiced also several sports such as scuba diving, sailing, skiing and of course soccer
I like to keep myself busy with electronics and mechanical stuff, reading science fiction books and why not, playing computer games too |

I decided to run rosetta@home due to the coronavirus outbreak hoping to help everybody on this planet to defeat that terrible disease
I did not know much about r@h until I joined the project, now I guess it is a very important one not only to find a cure for the corona but also to better understand what is the "programming language" which rules the life of all the living beings on the planet in general
r@h looks to run fine to me now, no suggestions at the moment.......maybe later on |
