| Description | Sicituradastra (thus we shall go to the stars) ... ............... Sicituradastra was founded on November 14th 2005, and the team is close to celebrating its 9th anniversary in seti@home and Boinc Projects. The name Sicituradastra comes from the motto of my home city,the city of Elgin,which means *thus we shall go to the stars*Located up in the Highlands of Scotland, it has been the citys motto for hundreds of years,and you can see the name incorporated in many places around the city.The local Elgin City football team has Sicituradastra on its team shirt and Elgin Academy also has it as its motto.It seemed the perfect name for the team i founded here at seti@home on November 14th 2005. I am proud of the name Sicituradastra and its meanings for both me and the city of Elgin, proud to be founder of the original Sicituradastra team,the team that has history on its side.We.Sicituradastra the team that supports the truth and because of this.....thus we shall go to the stars)....... |
