| Description | This team is dedicated to my mother, who passed away from multiple myeloma, a cancer of the bone marrow. By running Rosetta@Home, we contribute computing power to the Baker Lab’s groundbreaking research in protein design. These efforts are helping scientists develop new immunotherapies, targeted treatments, and a better understanding of how cancers like multiple myeloma grow and spread. Every work unit completed on this team is run in her honor and in honor of everyone fighting blood cancers. We believe that distributed computing can accelerate discoveries that may one day lead to better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Whether you have lost someone to cancer or simply want to help, you are welcome here. Together, we turn our grief into action and our idle computers into hope. Thank you for joining us in this fight. In loving memory of my mom 💙 |
