Microsoft charges by socket, so dual core (and upcomming quad core) procs will work with XP Home.

However, XP-H came out years ago at a time dual core procs didn't exist. XP-H does only support 1 socket, so it could be that the system files that allow a system to support multiple processors weren't included in the version he has.

yes it can be. Is anyone here who know which file is needed ??

I stopped the client shutdown the pc and start again.
The Wu starts but not at the same point, when I stopped the client and shut down.
It looks like that the programm dont write a checkpoint if it is closed.
Know anybody something about it.
edit:
The wu was about 50% now it starts with 35% ---> a lot waste time
