2) Questions and Answers : Macintosh : Rosetta/BOINC hangs at x% (Message 18649) Posted 14 Jun 2006 by cls Post: Yesterday I had a similar problem as described in another post on here, screensaver hung after password entered. After a manual reboot, relaunching BOINC it said "running." When I looked at the graphic image, it was stuck at some percent I do not recall. I closed BOINC a couple times and restarted it, kept using UPDATE which didn't seem to do anything. Eventually after 3 or so shutdown/restarts it went back to working and the % completed again started to rise. Today however, I have restarted BOINC several times yet the project remains at 1.001%. The graphics have changed a bit in the time since I last restarted, but not much. It lists status as "Relax." When I first looked at it this morning, it was at 1.72%, and had been running for 3 hours~. Current run time 1~ hour. I guess the question is... Is it normal to go such long periods of time and have no increase in the % completed? Should the graphic remain as a "still" for so long?
