Sally, it looks like your host is having trouble accessing a file and this is causing the tasks to all fail. Suggest you go to the advanced view of BOINC manager, highlight the Rosetta project name, then click the "reset project" button over on the left. This will download a fresh copy of all the project standard files.

Have you done anything special with the authorities set up on your machine? Sometimes problems accessing files are due to permissions.

The servers have been stressed by the load lately and they are working on an upgrade. But perhaps there was a hic-cup during your original download of the project files. So the reset project will try that complete download again.

Thanks for the reply, I have rebuilt all of my pc's serveral times and this is the first time I have had this problem. The only difference is that this is a quad core versus dual core . Same Installation procedures as all others. I do believe i did reset the project on this box yesterday before it said that i can not communicate with the server for 24hrs. It download at 4am eastern this morning and all units failed again. I will try uninstalling and deleting Boinc and downloading and installing again. Thanks

I searched for errors like mine but didn't see a fix. I installed a new q6600 with 2 gbs of memory, new install of xp pro and downloaded new boinc client. I had memory errors so i bought new memory and ran memtest and the new memory is fine. now i am getting these errors and i can't communicate with server for 24 hrs. Any help would be appreciated.

Here are the errors that I am getting on 2 AMD opteron systems. I have a X2 4600 that is not getting these errors. I have rebuilt these systems twice in the past few days and still getting an above 90 percent failure rate. MY RAC has dropped from 7700 to now below 6600 since 4.82.
