Depending on your BIOS you may have to enable h/w virtualization there first. You may also have to select UEFI boot too.

I run VMWare workstation and I can't run VirtualBox so I guess I'll run some other project instead.

I have two failed work units in the last batch. One also failed again with another user's attempt on the same platform (windows_x86_64)

https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/workunit.php?wuid=1197364660

However this one failed on windows_x86_64 but succeeded on aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu

Are these types of asymmetrical failures indicate platform bugs vs tasks which fail on all platforms?
5) Message boards : Number crunching : New computer but started with old restored BOINC directory from backup (Message 98397)

My last computer died a few months back and I was just able to build a new one.

The problem is that I restored the old BOINC directory from a backup.

So now new results (reported this week on the new hardware) are being reported on the old computer ID but it's updated the hardware and computer name of the old ID and also created a new ID.

So it's reporting under the new ID 4975853 but it updated the old ID 3132102 with the new hardware and name for some reason. And it won't merge them.

Is this a problem?
