Posted 13 Apr 2006 by Marko Post: Team members don't show up until they earn a bit of credit. If they are already a member then as soon as they are granted a bit of credit they show up... -KEL I thought so, but my member has already gained credit and he is still out of my list of "users with credits". |

other team member not showing as a member

Posted 2 Apr 2006 by Marko Post: I made a team "The Wild Bunch - Serbia" and invited a friend to join over the link supplied by Rosetta. He dl-ded BOINC, joined over that link, but took only Protein predictor tasks. His application works fine and communicates with Predictor, but He does not appear to be a member on Rosetta, my team shows only myself as an active member - with credit. While trying to do sthg about that I created team with the same name on Predictor, sent my friend link I got there, he tried to apply, but got the message that he is already a member. However, he doesn't appear to have credits even on Predictor. Any solutions? |

Thank you both very much for your troubles. All of a sudden, all seems to work just fine, after two days of delay. I haven't done ANYTHING considering this problem and this thing works! Just to answer Feet1st's questions 1. I had BOINC working for several days propperly. 2. None of the projects were showing (I had only one) |

"Network activity allways available" as it used to be. Problem stays. Using BOINC version 5.2.13 on Windows XP SP1, also using ADSL connection over router, if it matters... |

Posted 25 Mar 2006 by Marko Post: Whenever I start BOINC manager I get the message "BOINC Manager is not able to connect to a BOINC client. Would you like to try to connect again?" Each following attempt results with the same message. My internet connection is fine, and the problem is not connected to firewall (shut down, same results). I also tried to re-install BOINC client. No luck. Any help? |
