OK, after all this answers I decided to edit the "client_state.xml" to redirect the upload to "srv5" and it worked fine. WU uploaded, valdited and credit granted. No errors. It was only one WU so no big deal with the mod. After the upload the entry is deleted and so I don't have to do anything afterwards.

I think that you are asking for validate errors with this method because it is quite possible that the server that a work unit is assigned to is the only one that can validate it.

This was my major concern, so I will wait until all has been sorted out.

Same here. Seems that "srv6.bakerlab.org" is not online. I can ping them all from "srv1" to "srv5" but for "srv6" I get an "unknown host" message. The IP-adresses of those servers increase by "1" from "srv1" to "srv5" so when I ping the next in the row (128.95.160.147) I get no answer. On the server status page I can't see any hint for a server named "srv6", but for the WU that doesn't upload I can see this server "http://srv6.bakerlab.org/rosetta_cgi/file_upload_handler" as the upload target in the file "client_state.xml", so it must have been online before the move.

Is the function of srv6 moved to another server? Should I edit the file "client_state.xml" to change the target to for example "srv5" or will it cause the upload to fail?

I will wait a few days, maybe "srv6" will come online again.

boinc is trying to contact srv6.bakerlab.org but srv6 is not being found in DNS
hopefully they will fix it soon

Here's another weird story: I just tried to change the html team name of the newly created team and I got the same error. So it seems that one can create a html team name in a new profile, but couldn't change it. Looks like some kind of a parse problem in a script or something.

I just created a new user and a new team and it worked fine: DingensKirchen

Could there be a problem with my team profile?

Nope, it is 434x98 (WxH) with 96 dpi. It works fine on all other projects:

abc@home
aqua@home

...and so on.

When I enter this

<img src='http://aschy.kicks-ass.net/pics/WBOD01.gif'>

into the box called "Team Name, HTML Version", I get the following error message:

HTML name contains disallowed tags: <img src='http://aschy.kicks-ass.net/pics/WBOD01.gif'>

I also tried the image that I use in the HTML team description, which is 260x147, but I get the same message. I even get that message, when I use the rosetta image from your team description.

In the error message you can see, that every quote has a leading backslash. A problem that you can see in some fora of projects that use older BOINC server versions, e.g. LHC@Home.

And it's not a browser issue. I tried it in firefox and IE 6 on XP and IE 8 on Win7 with the same result.

Is my syntax wrong for rosetta?

Three years gone now and still not working. Do you think, this will be fixed one day? Or is the <img> tag disabled intentionally for some reason?

It had been working when I founded the team in 2007.

But the credits on one machine couldn't (or shouldn't) be higher than my credits on the whole project!

Sorry for the generic link, always forget about that. Here are the links to client 1 and client 2.

Don't know what graphs you were looking at but what I was complaining about was the fact that there is NO change (glitch) at July/Aug 06. Maybe you noticed the one at Nov 07.

But it doesn't matter if it coundn't be fixed, I can live with that. Just wanted to point to a kind of DB inconsistance or something like that. I have another machine on predictor@home which also displays more credits than I have in total.

Found something strange reviewing my host list.
The total over all hosts is about 83,339 credits, but on home.php my total credits are 41,224.

I'm sure that the displayed totals are correct, but the credits per host are wrong.

On my host list you can see one with 55,539 credits and one with 21,115.

On boincstats you can see, that Host ID "275491" got 52,617 credits on 2006-07-22 and Host ID "277641" got 10,985 credits on 2006-07-26, but there is no big glitch recorded in stats graphs here.

Can someone imagine what happened to that two hosts to get too much credits in 2006-07? Couldn't find anything about a server chrash in that time.
