Good evening.

Boinc is set to change projects every 3 hours, so as to allow other projects to be processed. Rosettamini 3.78 work units show me a processing that oscillates between 0.075% and 4.75%. After that, the processing time continues its count, but the processing percentage does not increase. Now I have canceled three 3.78 projects, one of which had accumulated a processing time of over 16 hours for 2,610% of the elaborate. As much as my pc can be engaged in other things (but nobody uses it at night), this is undeniable that there is a problem in the mathematical packaging of the work unit.
I repeat, it is the only type of project that gives me problems. Other applications of the Rosetta @ home project have never given me problems.
I also work out other projects, but never had these difficulties.

Thanks for your attention.

Hello.
I have not understood some terms that you have told me, but I can tell you this: the time set for using the PC is 100%. I think I can see the characteristics of my pc from my account.

For 70% of the day, the PC is not used, and is turned on 24 hours a day, and is set to allocate 80% of the total resources to the distributed calculation.
Heating will never be a problem, for what I installed it.
The problem of Rosetta Mini 3.78 work units has been going on for at least two years and they are the only work units I have had problems with.
Rarely, it happens with some work units of the World Communty Grid project, but I repeat it is very rare.

In my opinion, there is a problem of mathematical transformation ab initium.
So, the only solution that I see, not being able to block their sending from the Rosetta @ home site, is to cancel them every time I see them download and / or process.
I await a solution on this, but at the moment I have to do this.

Good day

I'm sorry, but that's not true. Rosetta Mini 3.78 work units, even when they have reached 100% of processing, continue to be processed. I wanted to see how far this continued: it happened that, after more than 6 days of processing, the work unit indicated 100%, occupying over 4GB of RAM.
Therefore, I am of the opinion that Rosetta Mini 3.78 work units are defective, or made for other types of PCs.
The problem is that I can't disable receiving them every time I ask for new work units from the Rosetta project.
Is it possible to program this function?
Thanks for the attention.

Buongiorno.

(prego inviare risposta anche su mangelini1967@libero.it)

Hi. My computer works to three project (SETI; Einstein and Rosetta). How i can to download more WU's of my projects in a one time instead one only WU time by time? For example, download 25 Rosetta's WU, 3 Einstein's Wu and 35 Seti's WU in a one only connection to internet?

Thanks for your attention and, please, send to my e-mail your answer.

Have a good day.

Max
