Now I know page faults is a poor name for having to retrieve virtual memory from disk, so that is not my concern. My concern is the loss of efficiency by the need of the OS to do this. Now I am running XP 64, w/ 4Gb dram, not a speed demon but it gets the job done. Considering that my resource monitors say that my dram usage is at 59%, I would hope that either the code or resource parameters could be done is such a way to reduce the swapping dram to disk that the application does.
