If you Waite a little while negative debt will build high enough that no more Rosetta WU will be downloaded until the negative debt is payed off by other projects running. For this to happen the negative debt for a project must be grater than the connect to time. for a 60 minute switch time debt must be more negative than -3600. May take a day or two to work out. I use 1500 minutes so I need to be more negative than 90,000. This can take over a week to re-balance.

this assumes that you are using a client after 4.71 ? or for sure a 5.x.x client.

I will not run this project until the CPU time is remembered on shutdown. I do this for the science and the points. So far I have lost almost 12 hours of CPU time. Dad forgot and turned the computer off like normal when he went to bed.

I would like to run this as I like biology orientated projects.

Thank you and I hope I can allow new work soon
3) Message boards : Number crunching : Warning: Don't shut down BOINC Manager..!! (Message 129)

I'm guessing the manager just displays the current cpu time since restart, but will report the total cpu time for the workunit. Does anyone know if this is correct?

NO

I do not know on your sight but on SZTAKI when this happened the displayed CPU time, even if it was only a few seconds out of thousands, was what was reported. They were able to correct it quickly.
