(Message 56371) Posted 15 Oct 2008 by JollySwagman Post: The BOINC client and manager package is behind a couple versions in the Ubuntu repositories for the Synaptic Package Manager. Will the package update from 5.10.45 to the newer 6.2.15 version for amd64 installations at some point? Is this something that BOINC needs to fix, or Ubuntu? Was about to ask the very same question too, as so far have had a few issues with this particular version. Completed 2 WU's then the client just stopped using both cores and was getting errors And when went to check the message logs everything just disappeared, now there are no WU,s and wont restart.??
