Is really necessary to comment on every "predictor of the day" entry?

Still no graphics for Linux / Ubuntu after many years I think! :(

The reason is clear: There is no graphics for command-line interface ;)
Just kidding, hope there'll be a fix, soon.

Not really a problem, but referring to the description that now large models are better supported by windows graphics application.
For me it's not working for
http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/result.php?resultid=722810814 and
http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/result.php?resultid=722775030

Application only goes to blank window. At least the application does not crash in full screen mode like the previous one.

Greetings, Michael

Update: From time to time the application window shows graphics. However, full screen mode still results in black screen.

Hello,
Sorry those are my boinc jobs that caused the computational errors on the clients. These are protein design calculations that aim to generate ideal protein topology to bind cancer target PD1. To generate a good structure, it requires searching a large space in both protein topology (composition and arrangement of protein secondary structures) and protein conformation. The generated structure undergoes strict filtering to ensure good quality control. This most of time results in few or no structures even after a couple of hours of computing. We used boinc to survey a large number of protein topologies on the order of 100,000 (each topology is sampled on the order of 10-100 times). The initial results can be used to guide further focused sampling on promising topologies.
I am not sure what caused the malloc errors and quick terminating of the computations. Some of my jobs which are set up in the same way return good structures. I will work together with the boinc team to resolve this problem and prevent those from happening in the future.
At last, I really appreciate your generosity to donating your computational resources. This speeds up a lot with our efforts to find binders that can potentially cure diseases. I have benefit a lot from boinc to design binders for Ebola virus very recently.
Thanks for the feedback.
Best regards,
Lei

Thank you very much for the background information! I personally have no problems with computing errors - after all, this process belongs to such a project. After all, it's science, which inherently means try & error, right?

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask the following question, so please don't hit me.

In former times, I could have a look on graphs and additional information concering the WUs crunched on my account ( http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/rah_results.php?login=1 ).
Nowadays I receive the following message: "Sorry, the data requested does not exist."
Im a bit confused. I liked that result function.

The search function did not reveal any useful information. Maybe someone has a hint for me.

Greetings,
Michel

Having the same reported problem with the screensaver popping up automatically since 3.43.
No progress could be observed and the popup tells me that no mem could be allocated. So the process would last forever.
Killing the process kills the calculation.

I'm using a Win7 x64 machine with Bionic 7.0.38

I'm running task lb_alnmatrix_threading_alncap__hb_t313__IGNORE_THE_REST_12577_3074_0 right now. The elapsed time is over 11 hours now, predicted are another 30. This was the same with lr5_D_rama_map_iter05_rlbn_1kpe_SAVE_ALL_OUT_NATIVE_NOCON_12603_60_0_0. The outcome is nothing really special so I wonder if this is normal. Usually, at least in the previous version, I needed between 3 and 5 hours for a task.
The current task's graphics also cannot be displayed. This is all a bit strange - is it due to the new minirosetta version?

(By the way, I'm running a Vista64 system with 2x3,25 GHz and 4Gb RAM)
