Graphics not available - M1 Mac mini
(Message 100200)
Posted 27 Dec 2020 by ldhacker2 Post: It's kind of weird, but the graphics randomly started working. I guess there wasn't a real issue in the first place. Unless, there was a quick patch by Baker Lab (Software side) or Apple (OS side) that inadvertantly fixed the issue. |

Graphics not available - M1 Mac mini
(Message 100145)
Posted 25 Dec 2020 by ldhacker2 Post: I have noticed that I am unable to view the proteins folding in real time. I used to be able to do this on my Windows computer a couple of years ago. Do graphics currently not work on the M1 Mac mini, or is this a “Mac-wide” issue? |

Posted 23 Dec 2020 by ldhacker2 Post: Thank you. I have set a screen saver to start after 5 minutes and set the mini so that it will not sleep when the display is off. Now I will wait and see if this fixes the issue. |

M1 Mac mini - Error while computing
(Message 100109)
Posted 23 Dec 2020 by ldhacker2 Post: When I am running tasks on my Mac mini with the new M1 chip, they work fine and progress rather quickly. However, when I look at my account, it says that all of the tasks encountered an error when computing. I noticed that this only happens when my computer goes to sleep. As long as I keep it awake, the tasks run just fine. Is this a programming error (something to do with sys call handling), or should I configure my computer to not sleep? |
