Posted 22 Jan 2022 by Steve Hoffmann Post: The update process is a mess. This is what I'm offered: Rosetta@home: Notice from BOINC You are attached to this project twice. Please remove project named Rosetta@home, then add https:''bopinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta." (1) Rosetta@home: Notice from server VirtualBox is not installed (2) Is this helpful? NO IT IS NOT. For example, #1, "Please remove project named Rosetta@home" -- oh really? And how am I supposed to do that? You might as well blandly say "Fly to the moon, and then --" STEP BY STEP, guys! Come on! Remove from what, and by what means? AND THEN there's example 2: "add https:"bopinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta."" Add? To what, and how? I don't see it on any list and you thoughtfully don't tell us where to "add" it. I spent 30 years in computer I&T and I can't figure out your "helpful" instructions. And this is supposed to fix some change (let us not laughingly call it an 'upgrade') that YOU made. How about cleaning up after your "improvements"? |
