Your machines are hidden. Are they Windows? Linux? Mac?

Go to the advanced view to the tasks tab. What is shown for the status? Perhaps "waiting for memory"?

I've been waiting to get into my profile to "show" my computers but it's not been accessable for the last week or so but the status on these suspended machines is "Suspended - CPU benchmarks".

I had this after upgrading to the more recent version of boincmanager. They tended to default to using 50% of memory, so I got work suspended with "waiting for memory". I have the memory setting at 95% when working and 100% when not. Never had a "waiting for memory" since.

These are Windows XP service pak 2 and the status is "Suspended - CPU Benchmarks". I see that when I open advanced view but if I wait a min. or two the task begins to run otherwise it will hang like that indefinately.

I have a few machines that will suspend work on their own. Is someone familar with this problem and know the cause and cure? Thanks!

OK. Thanks. That is just what I needed to know. I always left that box checked because I thought BOINC would not run if I didn't but I guess it'll run anyway. I wonder if there is a way to change this setting now. There should be. I'll poke around. Thanks again.

The only thing I saw when installing as a service is to enable or disable the screen saver.

I found that I can't get into the BOINC stats forum unless I'm logged in..!!??

Also does someone know how to keep the BOINC icon from appearing in the notification area? I've tried the ususal right click on the task bar and customize to always hide BOINC but it comes back any way.

I could use a little help with BOINC stats. Does anyone know if there is a support email or forum? It won't log me on and it won't send me an email with my account info..?? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure this is the best way to ask this question but I have a couple of questions. First how do I hide the computers on my profile. I noticed a number of people have done this. And second, I've tried to subscrible to BOINC stats but never get an email back giving me a password or whatever I need to sign up.
Thanks in advance for the help.
