Garbage collector or cleaning?!

Posted 19 Dec 2008 by RvP_LaN Post: Hello, As one of my project claims that no space left was available on disk, I did a check into each subfolders of Boinc's "projects" folder. It seems that Rosetta doesn't perform "house cleaning"!!! In the Rosetta's folder, it was left different versions of these files: minirosetta_1.xx_windows_x86_64.exe minirosetta_database_revxxxxx.zip minirosetta_graphics_1.xx_windows_x86_64.exe And a numerous *.dat.gz for which I'm not sure at all if I may delete them or if I should keep them... Each time you push a new binary version, do you think it could be possible that you check obsolete files and delete them? Same principe at each new WU for dat files. It's not a matter of disk space for Rosetta in itself, it's a matter of having a certain amount of disk space allocated for ALL projects, which is then SHARED between ALL projects. Regards. |
